Rejoice, ye pure in heart! Rejoice, give thanks and sing

History & Background
Written by Edward Hayes Plumptre (1821-1891) in 1865 for a choir festival at Peterborough Cathedral. The tune MARION was composed by Arthur Henry Messiter (1834-1916) in 1883.
