History & Background
Written by Helen Howarth Lemmel (1863-1961) in 1922, inspired by a tract written by Lilias Trotter containing the phrase 'So then, turn your eyes upon Him, look full into His face and you will find that the things of earth will acquire a strange new dimness.' One of the great hymns of fixing attention on Christ.
