Aurelius Prudentius

Aurelius Prudentius (348-413) was a Spanish Christian poet and theologian of the late patristic period who made significant contributions to early Christian hymnody. He wrote extensively on doctrinal subjects in verse, with his Cathemerinon (Book of Hours) being considered one of the foundational collections of Christian hymns for liturgical use throughout the day.
