Jaroslav Jan Vajda

Jaroslav Jan Vajda (1919-2008) was a prolific Lutheran hymnodist and pastor of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod who made significant contributions to modern Christian hymnody. Over his career spanning several decades, he authored more than 400 hymn texts, many of which reflect contemporary theological concerns while maintaining connection to Lutheran tradition.
