J.M.C. Crum

John Macleod Campbell Crum (1887-1958) was an English Anglican clergyman, liturgical scholar, and hymnodist who served as canon of Durham Cathedral. A significant figure in the liturgical renewal movement of the twentieth century, Crum contributed numerous hymn texts that reflected contemporary Anglican theology and worship practices. His work as a liturgical scholar informed his hymnody, which emphasized doctrinal clarity and spiritual depth within the Anglican tradition.
