Johann Zwick (1496-1542) was a German Reformation pastor and hymn writer from Konstanz who made significant contributions to Lutheran hymnody during the 16th century. Serving as a pastoral minister in Konstanz, he combined his theological commitments with creative hymn composition, producing works that reflected both Reformed and Lutheran traditions. Zwick's hymns were known for their theological depth and accessibility, helping to shape congregational singing during the Reformation period.
