Laurentius Laurenti

Laurentius Laurenti (1660–1722) was a Swedish Lutheran pastor and prolific hymn writer who made significant contributions to Swedish Protestant hymnody during the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Serving in Stockholm, he composed over 200 hymns that became staples of Swedish Lutheran worship, reflecting the devotional piety of the era.
