Luke 1

In Luke chapter 1, the message of the gospel develops the theme of an orderly account of Jesus’ life and salvation for all people. Lutheran interpretation frequently emphasizes the proclamation of Christ, the distinction between law and gospel, and the promise of justification through faith.

Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
